CORPORATE & COMMERCIAL

Offices for your teams. Spaces for your customers. One firm for both.
Lyric designs, furnishes, and installs commercial interiors across Nashville: workplace strategy, interior design, demountable wall systems, technology integration, and commercial furniture. Corporate offices, bank branches, dealerships, showrooms, and the working spaces behind them.

CORPORATE AND COMMERCIAL INTERIOR DESIGN IN NASHVILLE
Client experience anticipates. Customer service reacts.
Most projects start in one of three places. A lease gets signed, a space stops fitting the business, or a location starts to look dated. Lyric works from any of those starting points, and the first job is the same every time: establish what the space actually has to do before deciding what goes in it. That order is what separates a project that works from one that just gets delivered.
Most businesses also have two kinds of space, and they usually get handled separately. The offices where teams work, and the areas where customers arrive. Lyric plans both in one brief. They share a building, a budget, and a brand, and the people delivering your customer experience spend the whole day in the part of the building no customer ever sees.

THE REAL CONSTRAINTS ON A CORPORATE OR COMMERCIAL PROJECT
Six pressures that shape how a customer reads your business.

A mandate is not a strategy.
Requiring days on site sets attendance. It does not decide whether those days are worth anything. The building is what closes that gap.
The wait is part of the experience.
Almost nobody designs the waiting area with real intent, and it is where customers spend their most attentive minutes. Seating, sightlines, and whether a person feels observed or at ease all get decided there.
Junior talent learns by proximity.
Judgment is absorbed, not assigned. An office with nowhere to overhear, linger, or ask a half-formed question quietly stops developing the people it hired.
Privacy is a requirement, not a preference.
Financial and professional conversations need acoustic separation that open layouts rarely provide. A customer who can be overheard will say less, and a team without enclosed space will book a conference room to make a phone call.
The utilization data contradicts the floor plan.
Most offices have too many desks and not enough rooms. Teams come in to collaborate and then compete for the four spaces where collaboration is possible.
A dated space reads as decline.
Customer-facing environments cannot look tired without cost, and employees draw the same conclusion from a break room nobody has touched in a decade. Renewal is a statement about whether the business is still growing.

Workplace Strategy, Design, Furniture, and Installation
Strategy first. Then design, technology, and delivery, in harmony.
Lyric is technology-led and design-driven, which means the brief starts with how your business actually runs. How customers arrive and what happens next, how your teams work and what they need to deliver it, and where the organization is headed. Technology runs through every stage, from discovery to installation, so decisions get made on evidence and documented for the next location.

Creative Services
Interior design, finish, and furniture selection that carries your brand out front and supports your teams behind it. Every selection is made against the brief.

Architectural Solutions
Demountable walls, partitions, and glass that deliver private conversation space and let an office change as headcount does. Lyric is an authorized Metwall partner.

Operational Services
Project management, logistics, and installation phased around a working business. Overnight, weekends, floor by floor, or location by location, planned so you stay open.
Frequently Asked Questions

QUESTIONS
Can an office renovation and a customer-facing refresh be one project?
Yes, and that is usually the better way to do it. One brief means the two sides of your building agree with each other, sourcing stays consistent, and installation gets sequenced once instead of twice. It is also the version that costs less than two separate projects.
We are hybrid and staying that way. Does that change the design?
Substantially. A hybrid organization needs fewer assigned desks and considerably more room variety, and every meeting space has to work for the people who are not in it. Designing a hybrid company into a floor plan built for daily attendance is the most common and most expensive mistake in the category.
How do we know how much space we actually need?
That gets answered before anything is specified. Attendance patterns, meeting behavior, customer flow, and growth projections tell you what the business requires, and they frequently contradict what the current floor plan assumes.
Can you keep multiple locations consistent?
Yes, and that is where documentation earns its value. A specification package built once and applied across locations keeps sourcing repeatable and installation predictable, with room for bespoke elements where a particular site calls for it.
What does Lyric cover on a retail or showroom project?
Showroom floors, customer and waiting areas, consultation and closing offices, and the workspaces behind them. Fixture and display scope varies from project to project, so it is worth raising early. Lyric will define what belongs in the brief and coordinate the rest.
What does a first conversation look like?
SA strategy conversation, not a presentation. Expect questions about how your teams work, what your customers experience on arrival, and where the business is headed. You will leave with a clearer view of what your building is telling both audiences.
