Support, stability, and egress are non-negotiable. Looking clinical is not. The right specification delivers both, and residents notice which one an operator chose.
Staffing is the hardest line on the P&L.
Senior living competes for care staff against every hospital and employer in the market. Break rooms, workrooms, and charting space are the clearest signal an operator sends about whether the job is respected.
